Barker

Barker was founded in 1880 by Arthur Barker in Earls Barton, Northamptonshire, where it began by making waterproof peg-sole boots with the help of home workers. The current factory was built in 1986 on a site in the centre of the village, a few hundred yards from the original workshop. Barker says its Goodyear-welted shoes are still made there. It is known for a rounder last. Look at the last and the leather grade in the listing, and check the size, since lasts vary between ranges.
