Loake

Loake was founded in 1880 in Kettering, Northamptonshire, by three brothers: John, Thomas, and William Loake. They began in an outbuilding at Thomas’s house on King Street. The company still makes Goodyear-welted shoes in Kettering and says each pair takes up to eight weeks to complete. It is known for brogues and derbies made for daily wear. Look at the leather grade and the sole in the listing, and confirm the construction before you plan on resoling.
