Cesare Attolini

Cesare Attolini is a Naples tailoring house. Vincenzo Attolini is credited with dropping the padding of the British-style suit and cutting the lighter Neapolitan jacket, and his son Cesare built a system to make it at scale. The founding year is usually given as 1930. A 2024 WWD report says Cesare’s grandsons run the company and that about 120 tailors work in Naples. Look for the soft shoulder, and ask how much canvas a given jacket has.
