Cheaney

Cheaney began in 1886, when Joseph Cheaney, a former factory manager at B. Riley, opened a small workshop on Station Road in Desborough, Northamptonshire. A larger factory followed in the 1890s on Rushton Road. The firm amalgamated with Church’s in 1967, and cousins Jonathan and William Church bought it back in a 2009 management buy-out. The uppers are still cut and closed in Desborough. Look at the last name and the sole in the listing, and note that Desborough is in Northamptonshire, not in Northampton itself.
