Zegna
Zegna was founded in 1910 in Trivero, in the Biella area, by Ermenegildo Zegna, and began as a wool mill. The mill still processes fine fibres such as merino, cashmere, and mohair. The family also created Oasi Zegna, a nature park above Trivero that covers roughly a hundred square kilometres. The house makes cloth and tailored suits, and the cloth is its centre. Look at the cloth name and weight first, since the same cut changes character between a light summer wool and a heavier flannel.
